Funding Her Future in Tech

BOOST provides scholarships and digital access to young women pursuing ICT degrees — turning potential into opportunity and building the next generation of women leaders in technology

OUR Cause

The Gender Gap in Technology Is Real — and Growing

Over 45 million Nigerian women lack internet access, and girls in rural communities are 30% less likely to own a smartphone or access digital learning tools.

At the same time, rising tuition costs continue to push qualified young women out of technology programs — not because they lack ability, but because they lack financial support.

22%

of STEM graduates in Nigerian universities are women, & the gap is even wider in ICT-related fields.

What we do

How we help

Many talented young women are forced to abandon their dreams in technology due to prohibitive tuition costs. BOOST provides exclusive scholarships, ensuring that financial barriers do not silence potential. We don’t just fund education; we fund futures, giving these young women the chance they deserve to succeed.

In a world driven by technology, access to the internet is not a luxury; it’s a necessity. Over 45 million Nigerian women lack reliable internet access, and girls in rural areas are disproportionately affected. BOOST ensures that every scholar has the digital tools and connectivity they need

Cultural norms and a lack of role models often discourage girls from pursuing careers in ICT. BOOST actively promotes female representation in technology, providing mentorship and visibility to help these young women see themselves as future leaders. By showing them what’s possible, we ignite their confidence and drive.

Education is only the first step. BOOST goes beyond by connecting scholars with industry networks, internships, and career opportunities in tech. We ensure that these young women not only complete their studies but also thrive in the tech industry.

Why Girls in Technology Matter

When girls are given access to technology education, the impact goes beyond the individual.

It creates economic independence, strengthens communities, and drives innovation.

Closing the gender gap in ICT is not just a social issue — it is a future-building opportunity.

From Aspiration to Achievement

Scholar Stories

Before receiving support, I was struggling to continue my ICT program due to financial constraints. I didn’t want to give up on my dream of becoming a software developer. With support, I am now able to stay in school, focus on my studies, and build skills that will shape my future in technology.
