The Bolanle Olufolake Opeyokun Scholarship Trust (BOOST) is a scholarship program designed to support female students pursuing higher education by providing financial assistance to help cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses – up to approved amount.

Any indigent Nigerian female student, above the age of 16 years who is enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited university in Nigeria.

The university must be an accredited educational institution that is also a BOOST approved beneficiary university.

To apply for BOOST, please select APPLY on the website and complete the online application form.

 Follow the instructions carefully and submit all required documents before the application deadline.

Late applications will not be considered, so make sure to submit your application on time.

Along with the application form, you may need to provide various documents such as academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a personal statement, or any other specific requirements outlined in the application guidelines available HERE.

The selection process involves a review committee that evaluates applications based on academic achievements, leadership qualities, extracurricular activities, financial need, and the applicant’s personal statement.

At the moment, BOOST is only available in Nigerian higher institutions accredited by the National Universities Commission and approved by the BOOST Board of Trustees. The approved list can be accessed HERE.

BOOST applies for the full duration of the selected course of study as advised by the selected University. However, for annual renewal, recipients must maintain a CGPA equivalent to a second class upper division in their chosen institution of study.

Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the recipient’s educational institution to cover tuition and related expenses. In some extraordinary cases, a check may be issued to the student.
