Terms & Conditions

Please read these Scholarship Submission Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before submitting your application for the BOOST Fund.

By submitting your application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not proceed with your submission.

Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to all female, Nigerian students of at least 16 looking to pursue undergraduate studies in any Nigerian university within the areas of Information and Computer Technology.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited educational institution, such as a university, college, or vocational school in Nigeria.

Employees, officers, and directors of BOOST, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to apply.

Application Process

Applications must be submitted through the official application portal by the stated deadline for each session. Late applications will not be accepted.
Incomplete or inaccurate applications will be disqualified.

Submission Requirements

All submitted materials, including essays, documents, and any additional content, must be original and created by the applicant. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification. Any falsification of information will result in disqualification.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship committee appointed by BOOST Trustees.

The committee’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed. Recipients will be notified by the deadline stated on the timetable for each scholarship cycle via the email address provided in the application.

Use of Personal Information

By submitting your application, you grant BOOST the right to use your name, photo, and application materials for promotional purposes related to the Scholarship.

Scholarship Award

The scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient’s educational institution. The scholarship award is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Recipients must provide proof of enrollment and other necessary information to receive the scholarship award.

Limitation of Liability

The BOOST Fund is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, human error, or other factors that may prevent the submission or review of applications. The BOOST Fund is not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries resulting from participation in the Scholarship.

Modification and Termination

The BOOST Fund reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Scholarship at any time for any reason.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
